The vaccine produces antibodies in our blood that stop nicotine from entering the brain. The antibodies reduce the desire of smokers to have a cigarette. It also lessens the pleasure that smokers experience when they smoke. Experiments on 341 heavy smokers produced impressive success rates. Forty percent of those who received the vaccine stopped smoking. All smokers who took the vaccine developed the antibodies that reduce the desire for a cigarette.
