A school at for from in of out to with Britain has apologised to more than 50 students at for from in of out to with punishing them after they wore the wrong trousers to class. Pupils at for from in of out to with Heaton Manor school in the north at for from in of out to with England were taken at for from in of out to with of class and given detention for not conforming at for from in of out to with school uniform rules. They had to spend around eight hours at for from in of out to with a small classroom for breaking the rules. School bosses said many at for from in of out to with the trousers were "skintight" and were not appropriate dress at for from in of out to with school. Head teacher Lynne Ackland explained that the school had been in the process at for from in of out to with tightening its uniform rules. She said she had not anticipated the variety at for from in of out to with trouser styles her pupils would wear. She admitted the school had been too strict at for from in of out to with the students. Parents were furious at for from in of out to with the treatment their children received. A mother at for from in of out to with an 11-year-old told reporters: "[My daughter] was in that room at for from in of out to with eight hours yesterday and she was deeply distressed. I'd understand if she'd behaved badly, but this is punishment at for from in of out to with a pair of trousers the teachers don't like….She's lost two days' education because at for from in of out to with this ridiculous rule and I'm absolutely livid." She added: "We were sent letters at for from in of out to with the school to say pupils must wear black, tailored trousers. at for from in of out to with my opinion, [my daughter's] trousers are tailored; they are not skintight. The school should be more specific." Ms Ackland said: "We clearly need to be much more specific at for from in of out to with people at for from in of out to with future."
