The 17-year-old girls' rights activist Malala Yousafzai has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup 2014. She was one acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup two Nobel laureates to be declared winners this year. The other is Kailash Satyarthi, who campaigns acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup children's rights. Malala was given the accolade exactly two years and a day acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup a Taliban gunman shot her acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup the head acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup her school bus. Following her recovery acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup a British hospital, Malala has toured the world speaking acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup for the rights for girls to receive an education. She once told reporters that going to school, "is like walking acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup a magic door acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup your dreams". Malala becomes the youngest ever recipient acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup the prize and the second Pakistani to scoop the award.

The Nobel Committee said Ms Yousafzai and Mr Satyarthi won the prize, " acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup their struggle acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup the suppression acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup children and young people, and acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup the right of all children acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup education." Pakistan's Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif congratulated Malala, calling her the "pride acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup Pakistan". He said: "She has made her countrymen proud. Her achievement is unparalleled and unequalled." He urged all children to follow her lead. Mr Satyarthi told Al Jazeera that his award was acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup the, "many voices acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup children who are victims acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup servitude… acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup the world". He added: "The Nobel Committee regards it as an important point acrossafteragainstforinofonthroughtoup a Hindu and a Muslim, an Indian and a Pakistani, to join in a common struggle for education."
