The Reading / Listening - Level 0

A 13-year-old boy made a machine to help blind people read. It uses Braille - small bumps that people touch. Braille writers usually cost over $2,000. The boy made his writer from a Lego robot kit. It costs just $350. His new device is called the Braigo – a combination of the words Braille and Lego. A computer can print it.

The boy designed the Braigo for a science project. Intel invested some money in it. The boy also got $35,000 from his father. His father is a computer engineer. The father said he knew his son had a good idea. He wanted him to continue. The boy wants many blind people to use his Braille printer.
