The Reading / Listening - Level 0

We learn a lot from nature. The latest thing is self-repairing clothing. Scientists can now make clothes that can repair themselves. There is no need for sewing. Scientists looked at how squid stick to things so well. They found a kind of glue on the suckers on a squid. It's like the silk in a spider's web.

A rip or tear in clothes will join together in less than a minute. You have to dip the tear in water. Soldiers and other people will be safer with clothes that repair quickly and easily. A scientist said nobody will be able to see the glue because it is very thin. He said our clothes will be stronger.
