Kami Rita is a
legend and a hero in the Himalayan
of Nepal. He has the
Snow Leopard because of his decades of
in climbing Everest and other mountains. He
scaled Everest in 1994 and has done the climb
every year since then. He said he would make another attempt at the climb in 2022, saying: "I felt the Goddess did not want me to go up
this year. After receiving the signals, I returned to Kathmandu. I will go back again next year to complete my
." The Sherpa people believe Everest is a goddess. They take part in a
ceremony to pay their respects to the mountain and to have good
before starting a climb.
