READING:

Sesame Street is moving to Netflix. The popular show started in 1969. There have been 4,731 episodes. Netflix said the show excites children, and encourages a love of learning. Elmo's World will be in the new season. Well-known characters like Big Bird and Count von Count will also be there.

Sesame Street will continue to educate children. Netflix said the show brings "early learning to children…for free". In the 1960s, a psychologist, a TV producer and Harvard University tried to think of a new way to teach children. Since 1969, Sesame Street has taught easy maths, reading, and social skills to children worldwide.
