READING:

A man, Mr X, had a sad experience in his search for love. Mr X sold everything he owned to get money to see a woman he met online. He travelled over 2,000 kilometres by bus to see her. Her name was Jessica. Her online profile read: "I really want to support you. I want you to come to my farm and never work again in your life." Mr X went to a city in Brazil to meet her, but he could not find her. He showed people photos of her. However, nobody knew who she was. He then found out that she was not real. She was made by AI. The man was sad. He said: "I came here to find happiness."

Mr X's story shows that it is risky to look for love online. Many people try to find a partner online, but they can be tricked. This is because AI can make people look real. Jessica had over 300,000 followers. She looked like a real woman. The person who created her wanted to get people's attention online. They wanted to use Jessica to help sell things. Mr X hopes people do not make a similar mistake in the future. It is important to check the identity of someone you meet online. Mr X said: "Sometimes, loneliness at home causes many problems in a person's life."
